Meghan Markle’s 9-Word Confession Makes It Crystal Clear—She Was Never Meant for Life in the Royal Family.

Meghan Markle previously made a remark that is said to prove that her transition into the Royal Family would never work out.

Meghan Markle previously made a 9-word remark that subtly hinted that her time in the Royal Family would never last.

The 43-year-old previously spoke about her passion for working as she revealed one thing that she has “never wanted”.

As a working royal, Meghan would have enjoyed luxury and undoubtedly had access to lavish food and experiences – including attending fancy lunchesand banquets, as just a small part of the role as a hard-working senior royal.

However, during her acting and blogging days, Meghan revealed that this was never something that she strived for.

Previously writing on her lifestyle website, The Tig, Meghan wrote in a nine-word comment: “I’ve never wanted to be a lady who lunches”, before adding: “I’ve always wanted to be a woman who works.”

While the latter part is true, and she would certainly have been required to work as a member of the Firm, it is also true that she would’ve been involved in the pomp and pageantry, part of what makes the royals so great.

Going on to speak of her humanitarian work, she added: “And this type of work is what feeds my soul, and fuels my purpose.”

The Duchess of Sussex officially joined the Royal Family in 2018 after marrying Prince Harry, whom she met two years prior.

Writing about Meghan’s exit from the Royal Family, Finding Freedom authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand previously shared that Meghan tearfully opened up about her decision to step down as a working royal.

The book read: “The courtiers blame Meghan, and some family do. She, on the other hand, felt she had sacrificed a lot for the royals.”

As Meghan tearfully told a friend in March 2020: ‘I gave up my entire life for this family. I was willing to do whatever it takes. But here we are. It’s very sad’.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex now reside in California with their two children, Archie, five, and three-year-old Lilibet.

Following the release of the couple’s documentary about Polo earlier this week, Meghan is now gearing up for the release of her own cooking show – as part of the couple’s lucrative multi-million-pound deal with Netflix.

The title and release date remains unknown, however, the show is reportedly set to air in “early 2025”.
