The girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was in the stands cheering him on as he faced the Philadelphia Eagles in pursuit of an unprecedented three consecutive Super Bowl victories.
However, when the Shake It Off singer’s face appeared on the stadium jumbotron, it was met with a resounding chorus of boos from the Eagles fans inside Caesars Superdome in New Orleans

NFL fans have often criticized the league and broadcasters for the extensive attention Taylor Swift has received since she began dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce last season. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell even addressed the complaints ahead of last year’s Super Bowl in Las Vegas, which Swift attended as the Chiefs clinched an overtime victory against the San Francisco 49ers.
This time last year, Goodell was asked whether Swift’s relationship with Kelce was part of a scripted plan to draw more attention to the NFL. He dismissed the notion, joking: “I don’t think I’m that good of a scripter or anybody on our staff. There’s no way that I could have scripted that one.”
Praising Swift, Goodell added: “She’s a remarkable performer. She knows great entertainment. I had the opportunity to go to two of her concerts with our girls and my wife—she’s the best of the best. So, having her at NFL games, (to) have her (be a) part of that is nothing but a positive light.”

Goodell continued: “Having the Taylor Swift effect is also a positive. Both Travis and Taylor are wonderful young people, they seem very happy. She knows great entertainment and I think that’s why she loves NFL football. I think it’s great to have her a part of it. Obviously, it creates a buzz, another group of young fans. Particularly young women.”
Goodell continued: “Taylor is obviously a dynamo. Everything she touches… there are people following and so, we count ourselves fortunate and we welcome it.”
The singer was spotted holding hands with boyfriend Travis Kelce after the two enjoyed “an intimate dinner” with pals Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes in The Big Easy.
The foursome were at Lilette — a French restaurant dubbed one of the “sexiest” establishments in New Orleans — for a few hours and had dinner at a back room table.
The group reportedly dined on duck and ricotta agnolotti, gnocchi in a butter and sage sauce and had grouper fish as an entrée.
The group then snook out of the establishment’s side door around 10 p.m. ET and were escorted to an SUV by personal security.
