CAN’T PAY THEIR BILLS! Close Pals Reveal Charles REFUSED To Take Harry’s Calls Asking For Money
Charles refused to take Harry’s calls telling Queen ‘I’m not a bank’, claims insider
The Queen tried to play the peacemaker and heal a rift between Charles and Harry but when she asked the now King why he did not take his son’s calls he replied: “I’m not a bank”, claimed an insider
King Charles told the late Queen that he was “not a bank” when she asked him why he wasn’t taking Harry’s call, when she stepped in to try and heal their rift, it is claimed.
The Queen is believed to have tried hard to improve the relationship that Harry had with the Royal Family after leaving the UK in 2020 and setting up home in California.
Harry and Meghan have made regular media appearances in the United States where they have spoken of the problems that they have had with other royals.
And it has now emerged that the Queen tried to ease the tension when Charles stopped taking phone calls from Harry because he was fed up with being asked for money, sources told The Sun.
Harry apparently “bombarded” the Queen with calls in the final year of her life about money but having handed over many duties due to her failing health she was neither willing nor able to help out.

Instead the Queen spoke to Charles about the problem and asked why he was only accepting emails and not phone calls from Harry to which he is claimed to have said: “Because I am not a bank.”
“The late Queen was always happy to speak with Harry but when he asked for money she said, ‘Why don’t you speak to your father?’ Harry told her that Charles wasn’t taking his calls any more,” said The Sun insider.

“Charles insisted that his son must email him instead. Members of the family, including William, had stopped speaking to Harry when they learned of his book deal, fearing what they said could end up in print.
“Harry is not as well off as people are led to believe. He was wanting money. When the Queen asked Charles what he was doing about it because she was fielding so many calls, he told her, ‘I’m not a bank’.”
King Charles is “refusing to take Prince Harry’s calls” as their Royal Family rift deepens, insider sources have claimed.
Friends of the duke have claimed His Majesty is no longer answering his estranged son’s calls or responding to his letters as their rift deepens.
The Duke of Sussex and the monarch last saw each other in February when they met for 45 minutes in London following the King’s cancer diagnosis.
But sources close to Harry said their communication has worsened ever since, especially amid growing tensions over the Duke of Sussex’s battle for automatic security when in the UK.
The Duke of Sussex is said to be “frightened” about the safety of his wife Meghan Markle and children Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.
Harry also believes the King has the power to intervene in his ongoing court case with the Home Office.
Sources told People Magazine that the issue of security began as a point of frustration between father and son but has now developed into “complete silence”.
A friend of Harry’s said: “He gets ‘unavailable right now’. His calls go unanswered. He has tried to reach out about the King’s health, but those calls go unanswered too.”
Decisions over the Duke of Sussex’s security are made independently of the King by the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec), which is part of the Home Office.
Harry last visited the UK in May to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, but could not meet his father during this recent trip.
In February, Harry, who now lives in Montecito, lost his High Court challenge in London against the UK Government over his right to state-funded police protection.

He had told a judge that he did not feel able to bring his children Archie and Lilibet to the UK and could not put Meghan “in danger like that”.
Prince Harry was then permitted in May to go to the Court of Appeal over the decision made in 2020 by Ravec.
A member of the King’s staff does sit on Ravec, but the King does not have the power to bestow police protection.
Last week it was confirmed that Birmingham would be the host city for the Invictus Games in 2027, but Harry might choose to attend without the rest of his family because of his security fears.
