Prince Harry has appeared in a new video this week amid reports his wife Meghan Markle is “devastated” over the divorce reports surrounding them.
The Duke of Sussex, 40, filmed a video from his and Meghan’s home in Montecito, California, to support WellChild – a charity he became patron of in 2007.
In the video, Harry urged members of the public to send in their nominations for this year’s WellChild Awards.

Prince Harry makes plea in WellChild Awards video
Prince Harry said: “The WellChild Awards recognise and celebrate the growing number of young people with complex medical conditions from across the United Kingdom, as well as those who go the extra mile to care for them.
“They allow us to shine a spotlight on the remarkable stories of strength, resilience and courage that they demonstrate every single day. And this year is especially significant as we celebrate the 20th WellChild Awards.”
It is a true privilege to honour the bravery and compassion of this incredible community.
The duke continued: “It is a true privilege to honour the bravery and compassion of this incredible community. And to make this happen, we need your help to nominate the exceptional people who inspire you every single day.
“Your support can make all the difference. Please join us in recognising the amazing individuals who will be honoured at the 2025 WellChild Awards!”
Harry regularly attends the awards ceremony each year. Last year, he flew over from California.
Meghan and Harry latest
Harry’s latest appearance comes amid reports surrounding his marriage to Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
Rumours have floated around recently claiming that the idea of a post-divorce book had been mentioned for the duchess.
Vanity Fair claimed the duchess’ team had a conversation with a publishing house to “gauge interest” in a potential book if she and Harry were to split.
Now, a source has said Meghan feels “devastated” over the rumours as they “always make their fans worry about a split”.

In addition, the insider told OK!: “She doesn’t like that sort of negativity being spread.
“Meghan was devastated when she saw all of these reports about a ‘post-divorce’ book coming out. She knows there’s no truth to them and it’s just upsetting for her to constantly have this negativity around them.
“She’s getting really sick and tired of all the split rumours. Everywhere she looks and reads there is something about her and Harry breaking up.”
Royal Insider has contacted reps for Meghan for comment.
Away from her personal life, Meghan has her new Netflix series coming up. With Love, Meghan will premiere on Netflix on March 4.
Meanwhile, it’ll see the duchess give her top tips on cooking, gardening and crafting. It’ll also feature some celebrity guests including actress Mindy Kaling.
