There has been a very public feud between Prince Harry and the rest of the royal family in recent years – but one expert has claimed the Duke of Sussex is ready to ‘forgive’
It’s no secret that Prince Harry’s relationship with the rest of the royal family has been tense in recent years.
The Duke of Sussex hasn’t held back when discussing his issues with his father King Charles, stepmother Queen Camilla, and older brother Prince William. Since moving to California with his wife Meghan Markle in 2020, he has only reunited with his family a few times.
From his explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021 to the release of his memoir Spare, Harry has given fans an inside look into the private lives of the royal family. He’s been open about his personal grievances with his family, making serious allegations including aides leaking stories and claims of physical assault by his brother William.
In an interview about his memoir, Harry was asked about the possibility of reuniting with his family. He responded by saying that the “ball is in their court” and from his perspective, the “door is always open.”

Royal expert Jennie Bond has since claimed that despite the passage of time, it’s still Harry who is ready to end the feud, while his father and brother appear to be “resisting” doing so. Speaking on Times Radio, she suggested that after initially pushing his family away, Harry now seems more willing to reconcile.
“Early on it was Harry, who was demanding an apology. There was going to be no meeting of minds or meeting in reality until there was an apology for the affronts he thought had been made to his wife,” she said.
Bond continued: “But now I think the tables have turned somewhat. Messages coming from Harry’s side are that he’s ready at least to forgive and that he loves his family. He’s said that quite publicly. He wants to see more of them.”
The royal expert concluded: “But it is Charles and William who seem to be resisting reconciliation at this point so I think it was first one, then the other.”
