Migrant crisis: More than 2,000 migrants cross Channel in just a WEEK as French camps ‘like a warzone’

More than 2,000 small boat migrants have crossed the Channel in less than a week, GB News can reveal.

At least 250 people have made the treacherous crossing so far on Tuesday.

French authorities have been dealing with a major outbreak of violence in the migrant camps, with multiple fatal shootings and stabbings since the weekend.

Sources have told the People’s Channel the migrant camps are “like a warzone”.

As the Prime Minister prepares to mark his first year in No10, Channel crossings have surged, hitting 30,000 on March 26.

On the same day, GB News revealed migrant crossings for 2025 had already hit 6,100.

Since then, that number has ballooned to almost 16,000, meaning overall figures since Starmer entered office could be as many as 40,000.
