Meghan Markle has shared a first look at one of her As Ever products on Instagram as she teases the official launch of her new-look brand. The Duchess of Sussex has announced a number of new ventures recently – from her Netflix show to her online shop – but it is her lifestyle brand which has sparked a great deal of interest.
The company was relaunched just weeks ago after the original name, American Riviera Orchard, was scrapped due to trademark issues. We’ve yet to see any products under the new brand name, but this morning, Meghan gave fans a glimpse of what to expect.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Meghan re-shared posts from three of her friends, Ben Skervin, Abigail Spencer and Heather Dorak, as they showed off and sampled As Ever’s raspberry spread.

Posting a picture of a chai latte and crumpets topped with the new preserve, celebrity hairdresser Ben Skervin wrote: “Delicious afternoon treat crumpets with butter and @asever raspberry spread it is really addictive thank you @meghan [red heart emoji].”
Meghan’s former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer also shared a boomerang video of the chic white box, while pilates instructor Heather shared a clip of her son spreading the jam on a slice of bread and wrote: “current nighttime snack obsession” in the caption.
Meghan said the rebranding of American Riviera Orchard was due to limitations in what she could sell under the name, given it was linked to a very specific location, the Californian coast.
Official documents reveal the As Ever trademark application could not be verified because a statement confirming intent was left unsigned, the Telegraph reports.
It has also been reported that various categories also needed updating as they were considered “indefinite or too broad”. This was namely “spoons for serving jams and fruit preserves”, “textile napkins” and “crystallised sugar for decoration”.
The new images of As Ever’s raspberry spread follow a steady stream of new projects by the Duchess, including her upcoming podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, which will launch on 8 April.
In the two-minute preview, she says: “I’m Meghan, and this is Confessions of a Female Founder, a show where I chat with female entrepreneurs and friends about the sleepless nights, the lessons learned, and the laser focus that got them to where they are today.
“We’re diving into the highs — and the lows – and the kind of advice that turns small ideas into billion-dollar businesses. And of course, we’re going to get some girl talk!”
