Having left the British royal family for a while, Meghan Markle and her husband still haven’t found the perfect ‘landing place’ for their family.
Daily Mail reported that Meghan Markle and her husband secretly visited the prestigious Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, USA on February 11. This is the old school that the Duchess of Sussex attended.
According to sources close to the royal family, the couple is said to have had conversations with some professors and scholars here to help them come up with ideas and initiatives for the couple’s new charity. The Sussexes are considering settling and developing permanently in the US instead of in Canada.
Previously, the couple also attended an event in the US and the amount of money to invite them was estimated to be nearly 1 million dollars. Meghan Markle and her husband are said to be in the US during this time to learn, survey the market as well as strengthen relationships with celebrities.
Meghan and her husband are said to want to settle permanently in the US.
In Canada, people were not very enthusiastic about the couple’s appearance and most of them did not want to spend any money to pay for the Sussexes. Therefore, Meghan and her husband turned to the US but also faced fierce attacks from the media there.
According to the Daily Mail, the Sussexes are not well-liked by the American media. Some American journalists believe that the couple are salesmen with “cheap” tricks. They try to attract attention by doing anything to “sell” their royal title for the highest price.
Recently, they were harshly criticized for attending an event of a tycoon with activities that destroy the environment while the couple always preached the need to save the planet. The revelation of Harry’s “job application” moment for his wife, along with information about the couple eating and contacting famous people, has caused public opinion to mock them as pragmatic and opportunistic people who use their royal reputation to make money.
The American media is also not keen on Meghan.
