Over the years, we’ve seen over a million different ways people declare their love for their partners, but Zuckerberg’s recent stunt is perhaps one of the grandest of them all.

The self-made billionaire took to Instagram on Tuesday to unveil a statue of Priscilla Chan to show his followers how he expresses his love for his wife.

Clearly inspired by the ancient Romans who loved to declare their love in art form, Zuckerberg showed off a meticulously crafted teal statue of the 39-year-old which was created by Daniel Arsham, a designer who specializes in grand pieces of art.

In the first photo, Chan is seen sipping out of a travel mug while wearing a dusty pink robe with white and blue details as she stands next to the statue depicting her likeness.

The vibrant piece depicts the mother of three standing in a wind-blown silver garment as she looks into the distance.

“Bringing back the Roman tradition of making sculptures of your wife,” Zuckerberg captioned the post, which also included a video close-up of the statue, which was resting on the soil of their backyard.

Chan later shared the post to her Instagram Stories alongside the caption: “You can’t miss me!”

Social media users on the platform were left speechless, with many commending the Facebook owner for his incredible expression of love.

“This is next level !! Love the matching mug,” wrote one user while another added: “Dang that is epic.”

A third also chimed in, stating: “This is beautiful and total [sic] awesome. Well done @zuck.”

However, on X (formerly Twitter), the topic took a wild turn after the image and video were reposted to it.

Many looked at the caption and seemingly rolled their eyes at Zuckerberg’s comment.

“That’s a great idea, Mark. I’ll sell my kidney and do it for my wife,” this user said.

“We don’t all have a billion pounds,” another added.

And this person was also less than impressed, tweeting: “Most of us can’t comfortably afford a whole statue Mark.”

Regardless of the money aspect, you have to admit it’s pretty cool, right?

Zuckerberg met Chan at a party back when the pair were both attending Harvard College in 2003 and then nine years later, they got married in an intimate outdoor ceremony at their home in Palo Alto, California.

The event was originally supposed to be a party to celebrate Chan’s graduation from medical school, but the couple surprised their loved ones by saying “I do” to each other on the day too.

Three years after settling into married life, they welcomed their first child Maxima before having two more children – August and Aurelia.
