Despite many “blockbusters” aimed at the British Royal Family being released throughout 2023, Meghan Markle is said to want to reconcile with the royal family, especially in the context of the Sussex couple facing “financial difficulties”.
According to Mirror, Meghan wants to spend about 8 months each year living in California (USA), and for the remaining 4 months of the year, their family will rent an apartment at Kensington Palace (UK) to have time for the royal family.
Meghan Markle and Harry are said to be struggling as the Archewell foundation’s finances have dropped significantly compared to 2022 as well as losing a $20 million deal with Spotify.
The source said it was clear the Duchess of Sussex believed the arrangement could “potentially help to mend the strains in her marriage to Prince Harry” and act as a strategic step in ” healing their relationship with King Charles, who is keener than ever to see the family reunited”.
However, the source also stressed that this reunion will only happen on one condition: Meghan and Harry must avoid saying negative things about the royal family in the future. “Meghan and Harry must agree not to badmouth the royal family anymore. That’s a must,” the insider told Life & Style.
Now, sources are confident the Duchess will always have a “way back” as it is reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are considering an invitation to the UK for Christmas this year.
However, the release of Omid Scobie’s royal biography “Endgame” aimed at many members has once again strained the relationship between Harry – Meghan and the royal family members. Therefore, the reunion is probably not going to happen right now, especially when Kate’s name is mentioned in this book.
Speaking to New Magazine, Duncan Larcombe said: “I think the Sussexes know that Prince William and Duchess Kate are still angry, and Kate’s name appearing in that book will arouse William’s anger.”
