Donald Trump’s Turnberry golf course wrecked by pro-Palestine protesters

Pro-Palestinian protesters have vandalised Donald Trump’s UK golf course at Turnberry. Shocking photos show insults, including “f*** Trump”, spray painted in red paint on the clubhouse. “Gaza is not for sale” was sprayed on the lawn and multiple holes could be seen in the course. The protest group Palestine Action has claimed responsibility for the demonstration, which also included red paint spread on the floors and buildings of the resort in South Ayrshire, Scotland.

“The most expensive golf course in Britain … got a visit by Palestine Action,” a spokesperson for the group said in a post on X. “No longer can ordinary people sit by whilst the American administration arms Israel and makes plans to ethnically cleanse Gaza.” “Whilst Trump attempts to treat Gaza as his property, he should know his own property is within reach,” they added.

The pro-Palestinian protest network also sprayed red paint onto a historic building at the University of Cambridge this week, calling for the university to “divest” from “companies complicit in war crimes”.

The latest incident comes after the US President suggested that America could develop the war-torn Gaza Strip into the “Riviera of the Middle East” last month.

Trump said he didn’t “think people should be going back to Gaza” after the Israel-Hamas war is over, adding that US ownership could transform the region into “a world class location that’s going to make people happy”.

He even shared an AI-generated clip detailing his vision for the Middle Eastern territory, depicting streets filled with Elon Musk’s Tesla vehicles, beaches dotted with skyscrapers and a child holding a gold balloon in the shape of the US President’s head.

The American leader bought the Turnberry resort in 2014, and has since hosted the British Open Championship there. It is commonly acknowledged as one of the top golf courses in the world and the most expensive in the UK.

A man with a Palestinian flag was also spotted climbing up the Houses of Parliament in London this morning, shouting “Free Palestine” and “I’m not going anywhere”.
