Deal or No Deal contestant breaks down in tears after taking home biggest ever win

Deal or No Deal enthusiasts were buzzing after Monday, 3 February’s nail-biting episode delivered one of the most thrilling finishes in the show’s history. Contestant Nay Nay, a paralegal by profession, appeared on the iconic ITV gameshow hosted by the charming Stephen Mulhern.

Kicking off the episode with unshakable confidence, Nay Nay declared she had a gut feeling about her box, stating: “What’s meant to be will be.” Throughout the game, Nay Nay miraculously eliminated all the lower-value blue boxes, leaving only the top-tier amounts in play.

“I’ve never seen anything like this,” exclaimed Stephen as the contest neared its climax with big sums like £20,000, £35,000 and £100,000 still on the board.

Nay Nay’s grandmother, who accompanied her on the show, tried persuading her to take the banker’s generous offers, but Nay Nay stood firm on her initial intuition.

When speaking to the banker, Stephen conveyed his astonishment at the progress of the game: “He’s saying this is a remarkable game. Do not get caught up in the moment – listen to your grandma and she will know the correct answer now,” he said.

The banker, clearly impressed, made an incredible offer to purchase her box for £51,700, reports the Mirror. In a dramatic turn, however, Nay Nay decided to stick with her chosen box and rejected the banker’s proposal.

And it paid off; she was left with just two large amounts, £100,000 and £75,000, prompting the banker to extend the largest bid ever seen on the show.

“This is the highest offer we have ever had so full credit to you – £82,700,” Stephen announced. “Deal or no deal? ” To everyone’s anticipation, Nay Nay responded: “Thank you Mr. Banker, but it’s no deal.”

With only her own box remaining, Nay Nay lifted the lid to reveal an astonishing £75,000 – the biggest win on Deal or No Deal to date. The episode sparked a flurry of reactions on social media, with one fan commenting: “Whatever happens, she will go down in history as the person to get this far with those two boxes #DealOrNoDeal.”

Another viewer exclaimed: “What an episode! ! This show needs a BAFTA after that #DealOrNoDeal.”

A third fan chimed in with: “Well done to this young lady, she is a joy #DealorNoDeal.”
