Netizens are buzzing over a rare glimpse of one of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick’s children in a heartfelt social media tribute. Most online users are convinced they know who the child resembles most.
Kyra Sedgwick recently celebrated their son Travis Bacon’s 35th birthday with a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, delighting fans who couldn’t help but notice the striking resemblance between mother and son.
One fan gushed about Kyra’s youthful appearance, complimenting her and Travis by writing, “You’re so pretty! Your son is handsome and you look too young to be his mom.” Another chimed in, “He doesn’t look like Kevin at all,” pointing out the noticeable difference from his famous father, Kevin Bacon.

The post featured a charming selfie of the duo during what appeared to be a hike. Kyra beamed in a white jacket with blue and white stripes, complemented by pink sunglasses. Beside her, Travis looked effortlessly cool in a printed black shirt and black and blue shades.

Not to be outdone, Kevin celebrated his son’s milestone in his own quirky style. He shared a hilarious Instagram post featuring the iconic band ABBA, with their faces humorously superimposed onto the band members.
“Happy Birthday to the hardest working, hardest rocking guy I know. Love, Dad,” Kevin’s post read, adding a unique and entertaining touch to the celebration.
While some netizens had mixed reactions to Travis’s looks, Kyra explained in a recent People interview how much their son resembles both her and Kevin.

When asked if she sees any of herself or her husband in Travis, Kyra responded enthusiastically, “For sure. I mean, I think he’s hungry and striving, and I think we were hungry and striving around that time.”

Travis is Kyra and Kevin’s oldest child; the couple also has a younger daughter, Sosie Bacon. Their touching tribute to Travis comes not long after Sosie sparked a stir among netizens due to a photo showing her hand visibly swollen, as reported in April.

One of Sosie’s Instagram posts last April showed her biting a sponge and posing with her hand on top of a sink. Her hand was a different color from the rest of her body, sparking concern from fans. “What happened to your hand?” inquired one user. “What is all over your hands? Chocolate? Syrup? Blood?” another questioned.
Beyond the concerning photos of Sosie Bacon, fans were delighted to find another picture where she looks just like her mom. The blonde-haired actress posed in a backless outfit, showing off her flawless look and a tree tattoo on her back. One fan commented, “Your mother’s twin! Beautiful!”
Another user observed that Sosie also looked like her dad aside from Kyra.“You have always looked identical to your father…… but in this picture you look just like your mother. both of them are awesome so I don’t know what else to say. Beautiful look at you the way you look at yourself.”
Sosie’s photos on social media may have sparked both admiration and concern, but she wows the public even more with her acting prowess. In an October 2022 interview. for Hollywood Reporter, her dad expressed pride in her craft.
Reflecting on his daughter’s performance, in the hit horror film, “Smile,” Kevin said, “That’s a movie where the stress level is [insane]. I was very proud of her.”

He was impressed not only by how great the 2013 Miss Golden Globe was but also by the challenging nature of the role. “It’s one of those parts where there is no break,” he added.
Kevin admitted he never thought Sosie would be interested in acting. Initially, she didn’t seem to want to pursue an acting career, but in her early 20s, she decided to drop out of college and move to Los Angeles to follow her passion.
Sosie dedicated herself to her acting career by working hard, continuously auditioning, and studying diligently. In a Harper’s Bazaar interview, Sosie was asked about the best piece of advice she had received on her acting journey and who it was from.

Interestingly, despite having two well-established actors as parents, Sosie revealed that Kevin and Kyra tried to remain neutral regarding her career choice. Her parents made a conscious effort to neither encourage nor discourage her.
Growing up with parents in the industry, she saw both the glamorous aspects and the challenges. However, once she decided to pursue acting, they were fully supportive, expressing excitement and readiness to discuss her career choice without any concern or hesitation.

Still, Kevin reflected on his initial reluctance to have his children follow in their footsteps, and then cast his daughter in a role that mirrored her mother’s character in flashbacks, in the 2005 film “Loverboy.”

He shared a light-hearted anecdote, saying, “But that’s what happens when you’re a director. You’ll do anything to get a shot. In this case, it was just sort of a perfect part, to play Kyra’s character as a girl. I just couldn’t resist it. Sure, Kyra was saying, ‘Well, all right, if you really want to…’ But Sosie was cool. She kind of got it out of her system. She said, ‘Oh, that was fun—now I’m going back to school.'”
