Kentucky Dad Rushes from Coal Mine Shift to Not Miss First Basketball Game with His Son!

It did not matter to this self-sacrificing American dad how tired and dirty he was after a long day at work in the mine. All that was important was to be right on time for his son’s first basketball game.

The man was afraid to miss his son’s excited reactions; he raced over — covered in soot — to share those moments with the toddler, as he used to do with his father.

He is a true example of dedication to family and definitely deserves to be called “Father of the Year!”
