Donny Osmond and his wife, Debbie, celebrated their 46th anniversary by sharing a rare wedding photo on Instagram. In it, Debbie wore a white veil and dress as she cut a four-tiered cake, while Donny, dressed in a blue tuxedo, gazes at the sweet treat she sliced.
Reflecting on their unconventional honeymoon in Las Vegas in 1978, where they performed shows with his family, Donny wrote, “Certainly a honeymoon we’ll never forget.” He hinted at their trip next week, suggesting a more private affair. “No one will know where we are,” he added.

However, Donny alluded to a song by Bill Withers and Grover Washington Jr. and invited his fans to guess the track. One fan enthusiastically replied, “Happy Anniversary, and that would be ‘Just The Two Of Us.'” Others shared warm greetings, expressing joy for the couple.
“I am sooooo happy for you both. You two are an inspiration [t]o us all. Happy Anniversary,” one commented. The sight of Donny’s younger self brought back fond memories for other admirers.

“Isn’t it funny how we all dreamed of marrying you someday and today we dream of meeting you BOTH. Happy anniversary to the beautiful couple. It would be such an honor to meet Debbie one day. Enjoy!!!” a supporter quipped,
Another playfully chimed in, “You broke a lot of hearts when you got married. I’m so happy you guys are so happy. Enjoy your trip!” Through the years, Donny’s relationship with Debbie has been a focal point of his public persona, highlighted by heartfelt gestures.
In a 2005 interview with Larry King, Donny expressed his love by writing the song “My Perfect Rhyme.” He recounted the evening he presented the track to Debbie. “She listened to it. She looked at me and she said, ‘OK, you bought yourself another 26 years.’ She loved it,” the singer stated.
For their 40th anniversary in 2018, Donny recorded a song and a video for Debbie, which she saw for the first time during a trip to Hawaii, where he had proposed. He thanked John Lennon for writing the song and David Foster for arranging it.
In 2019, Donny reflected on their 41st year together, expressing his feelings simply and profoundly, “In her I’ve found the love of my life and my closest, truest friend.”

When the pandemic hit in 2020, it changed their 42nd-anniversary plans, but Donny found a silver lining in the situation. “The greatest silver lining of a stay-at-home order is the chance to spend quality time at home with my sweetheart. I love Debbie more with every passing day,” he added.
By their 45th anniversary in 2023, Donny looked back fondly on the day he proposed to Debbie. “I asked this sweet little girl named Debbie Glenn to marry me 45 years ago today. It was the best decision of my life,” he gushed.
Beyond their anniversaries, Debbie has always been her husband’s biggest supporter. She recently surprised Donny during his Spring Break event, effortlessly drawing attention in a pink dress and white jacket. Donny shared a short but sweet update on social media.

“Debbie so graciously decided to surprise everyone at the Goin Coconuts Luau! As you know she made an appearance at the end of the Goin Coconuts movie and so it only made sense for her to join us for the festivities. Personally, she was the best thing in the movie!” Donny gushed alongside a carousel of images featuring his gorgeous wife.
Social media users were quick to praise Debbie’s radiant presence. “What is her secret to such gorgeous skin?!” mused a fan, while another noted, “She is classy, beautiful, nice AND kind to the fans. Appreciate your kindness to your fans after all these years. Inspiring as a couple.”

Another marveled at how time seemed to stand still for her. An Instragrammer exclaimed, “She still looks the same. A true beauty inside and out.” No one, however, finds Debbie more beautiful than Donny.

“I’ve never met someone who personifies beauty like Debbie does. Anyone who knows her would agree that she glows wherever she goes.✨ And perhaps the best part of all – her mind and heart are just as radiantly beautiful as she is on the outside,” Donny wrote in celebration of her birthday in 2019.
While the couple usually keeps their relationship private, Donny shared some insights into their love. He called Debbie an “irreplaceable influence” in a 2020 Valentine’s Day post. “She’s not only the love of my life, but she’s also my best friend and greatest confidant,” he added.
“Between raising our five sons, running the show at home, enjoying time with our grandchildren and running a business as well, I really don’t know how she manages to do it all,” Donny concluded his tribute to Debbie.
Over the years, Debbie often managed solo while Donny toured, and she became the glue that held their family together. He loves her with all his heart and has never strayed, even when he’s had the opportunity to.

“I work in Las Vegas. The temptations there are great,” Donny once said in an interview.
Because they faced this challenge head-on, the pair, who had met when Donny was still a teen idol, decided to live far away from those temptations. The duo settled in Utah, where they raised their four sons away from Hollywood’s glare.
“Our relationship and our home life is not an open book. My career is. But what happens in our home and how we raise our children, and how we treat each other, is pretty sacred. It belongs to us and that’s all,” Donny elaborated.

Trust plays a major role in the couple’s successful marriage, as Debbie added, “I think that’s part of the reason why our marriage is really strong – because I really trust him. It is difficult. I mean, we’ve spent a lot of time apart and – I don’t know – maybe that’s been a good thing!” There’s another reason Donny and Debbie’s union is still going strong.
“We work very hard. A successful marriage doesn’t just happen. I don’t want to paint the picture that we are just Pollyanna-ish, or very lucky. We’ve had challenges and arguments over the years. But at some point you have to ask, is it really worth falling out over, or is my ego getting in the way of having to be right?” Donny explained.

When they hit 35 years of marriage, Debbie Osmond showed that she also believed in continuously working to keep their relationship strong and wanted to attend marriage guidance classes. As Donny said, “Family first. Always.”
