Ben Habib announces new political party that will be ‘on the right of Reform UK’

Former Reform UK deputy leader Ben Habib has revealed that his is setting up a “new political party” that will be “to the right of Reform UK.”

Habib claimed that he “stepped down” from Reform and is now focused on building something new.

At the time Farage celebrated his departure and told The Peoples Channel that Habib had “attacked me more in public than the Labour Party have”.

“He’s gone very bitter, very twisted. It’s very sad,” Farage added. “The fact that he’s walked away, frankly, is a huge relief.”

“In some respects, I stepped down as deputy leader. This party is in its infancy. I’ve just taken it over.

He added: “It’s difficult not to be to the right of Reform.”

The former deputy Reform leader did not rule out former Reform MP Rupert Lowe joining the new party.

Habib left Reform UK in August after he claimed that the party’s new constitution “did not work”.

When asked if Habib was a loss to the party, Nigel Farage brutally responded: “None whatsover.”

“I appointed logically Richard Tice as deputy leader and Mr Habib did not like that and has fought against us ever since. Sometimes people get too big for their own boots.”

Habib responded at the time saying the comments “did make me laugh”.

He continued: “Nigel’s comments about me did make me laugh. I wholeheartedly agree that sometimes in politics people get big for their boots.”

“As Nick Ferrari stated, my fundamental disagreement with Nigel is that he is in total control of Reform UK. It has no democracy and no checks and balances in place.

“Even if their no constitution is one day adopted, that will not change the situation.

“The constitution is fixed in Nigel’s favour. He doesn’t trust his members.”
